Your work, in the moments it was made for.

…the first coffee, the long table, the gift handed across.

A listing says what it is. A moment shows why it matters.

The name

Made in the fire, shown in the glass.

Our process casts what's true about your work into moments that are unique to you. No templates. Nothing reused.

Our first service

Product Moments Foundry

The small moments your work lives in.

Your work lives in the small moments of your customers' lives: the mug that never goes back in the cupboard, the beans opened on a slow Sunday, the glass saved for Fridays. We write those moments, so customers can picture them before they buy.

Unmistakably yours, across everything you sell.

Our layered process starts from your shop, so every moment sounds like you. And it carries across your whole catalog, product by product, not one lucky paragraph.

Wherever customers meet your work.

Why moments

Every listing sounds the same.

Search for anything made with care and you'll find hundreds of listings saying the same thing: handcrafted, one of a kind, perfect for your morning ritual. When every shop uses the same quick tools, every shop starts to sound alike.

The usual listing

Elevate your morning ritual with our handcrafted stoneware breakfast bowl. Each piece is lovingly made by skilled artisans, making it the perfect addition to your kitchen or a thoughtful gift for the coffee lover in your life. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

A product moment · a breakfast bowl

Seven a.m. Yogurt, granola, a spoon left standing in it.

Rinsed. Back on the shelf.

Four o'clock, and the window's gone grey.

The same bowl comes down again: tomato soup this time, a minute in the microwave.

Carried to the chair by the window.

We named it for breakfast. It keeps earning the afternoon.

The difference isn't the tool. It's everything that happens before a word is written.

From the foundry

Moments we've written

Our first collection is for independent tableware makers. Every shop gets its own moments, whatever it makes: coffee, glassware, textiles.

Each is written in the shop's own voice. Shop and product names are removed.

Gift · a host set, for the season ahead

"Don't bring anything," they said.

So: one oval, three little bowls that nest, a small vase. Nothing, really.

Set down on the counter.

Twenty minutes later: almonds, olives, flaky salt.

Two stems from the yard in the vase.

For snacks on the table, and a few flowers alongside.

Gathering · a five-piece serving set

Saturday: all five pieces on one table. Eleven people, two conversations at once.

The large oval empties first.

Tuesday: just the grain bowl. Stew for two, at the counter.

The serving bowl is back by the window, holding a few lemons.

Bought for the holidays. Used on Tuesdays.

Gathering · the same set, after

Midnight. The table, finally empty.

Platters lined up by the sink, a smear of gravy on the big one.

Half a salad still in the serving bowl. Someone left a scarf on the chair.

Two dishwasher loads.

Then the small oval, back out at breakfast, with toast.

The busiest night of the year, and the morning after.

One of a kind · a hand-painted platter

Saturday: bread and cheese, piled right over the painted rosemary.

Sunday: washed, dried, and up on the wall.

A guest leans in. "Where did you find this?"

There isn't another one to find.

Gorgeous on the table, maybe even more gorgeous on the wall? Either way, it's the only one.

Everyday · hand-painted cups

Two hand-painted cups by the kettle. One for each of you.

Same flowers. Not quite.

On yours, one leaf leans a little left.

7:40. A little cortado, in the one with the leaf.

Hand-painted, so no two are quite alike. (Yours is the one with the leaf.)

The process

How our foundry works

  1. We read your shop the way your customers do.

Every page, every listing, every word you've written.

  2. We find what's yours.

What sets your shop apart, then each product, even each season.

  3. We write to a craft, not a prompt.

One product, one real job in someone's day, a line the reader remembers, and a feeling left for the customer to find.

  4. Every product, every surface.

Variations for product pages, posts, emails and gift guides.

  5. Judged before it reaches you.

We write several moments for each piece and test every one against our own standards: true to your listing, true to your voice, nothing a hundred other shops could say. Only the strongest makes it to you.

About us

Start from what's true, then tell it well.
